Covers and Titles and Book News! (Oh my!)

Recently, there have been lots of new covers and titles being released. The book news part of the title was just there because I wanted to add the "Oh my!" part. But this is technically book news. So, here goes:
Here is the newely released pretty cover for Dreaking Awake, the second in the Falling Under series by Gwen Hayes: (I love her dress and the rose petals, though I'm not a fan of this cover.)

Dreaming Awake (Falling Under, #2)
Here's the Summary: (From Goodreads)
She fell for him in a nighttime world. But the time for dreaming is past—and the here-and-now can be just as fragile their love…

When Theia Alderson first encountered a mysterious, handsome boy in her dreams, she never imagined how finding Haden Black—and falling in love—could change her life. To save Haden, Theia sacrificed everything. And the dangerous bargain she made could have lasting repercussions.

Now Theia has returned to Serendipity Falls, and she finds herself struggling with the same deadly hungers that have tortured Haden. When students at their high school fall prey to a mysterious illness, Theia can’t help but wonder if Haden’s control is slipping—and how much longer she’ll have a grip on her own.

And still the nightmare realm of Under won’t let them go. Someone from Haden’s past is determined to destroy Theia from the inside out, starting with those closest to her, forcing Theia to choose between family and friends and a love that may have been doomed from the start...

Behold.... The gorgeous cover for Bloodrose by Andrea Cremer, which is the third and last book in the Nightshade trilogy! (Which I like WAY more than the first.) It's set to be released February 21st 2012.
Bloodrose (Nightshade, #3)

It has been out for at least a week, but I wanted to show the cover of Wings of the Wicked by Courtney Allison Moulton. The first book is Angelfire, and this one's being released in February:
Wings of the Wicked (Angelfire, #2)
Summary: (From Goodreads)
Life as the Preliator is harder than Ellie ever imagined.
Balancing real life with the responsibility of being Heaven’s warrior is a challenge for Ellie. Her relationship with Will has become all business, though they both long for each other. And now that the secret of who she really is has come out, so have Hell’s strongest reapers. Grown bold and more vicious, the demonic threaten her in the light of day and stalk her in the night.

She’s been warned.
Cadan, a demonic reaper, comes to her with information about Bastian’s new plan to destroy Ellie’s soul and use an ancient relic to wake all the souls of the damned and unleash them upon humanity. As she fights to stay ahead of Bastian’s schemes , the revelations about those closest to her awaken a dark power within Ellie that threatens to destroy everything—including herself.

She’ll be betrayed.
Treachery comes even from those whom she loves, and Ellie is broken by the deaths of those who stood beside her in this Heavenly war. Still, she must find a way to save the world, herself, and her love for Will. If she fails, there will be hell to pay.

Lastly, what I view the biggest part of this post......The title reveal for Veronica Roth's second installment in the Divergent trilogy!

Here's the multiple definitions of "Insurgent" from Veronica's blog:
1. a person who rises in forcible opposition to lawful authority, especially a person who engages in armed resistance to a government or to the execution of its laws; rebel.
2. a member of a section of a political party that revolts against the methods or policies of the party.
3. one that acts contrary to the established leadership (as of a political party, union, or corporation) or its decisions and policies
4. (international law) a person or group that rises in revolt against an established government or authority but whose conduct does not amount to belligerency.

Yay! Lots of book news!
