My Review:
Shift was a great sequel to Shade. A very engrossing read, though I'm trying to decide which book I liked more. I gave Shade a higher rating, but this book had so much more Zach.....

I have a feeling that this is going to be a rather short review. This is just one of those sequels that there's not much to say that hasn't been said in my review of the first book, or your thoughts just aren't coming out they way you want them to with a book. Well, I will try to do my best, so here goes.

Being welcomed back into the world of Shade was awesome. I adored getting a good ghost....or should I say shade affect. I enjoyed the new aspects to this part of the story that involved Aura and Zach's relationship and the bits about Aura's mother.

Many surprises await the reader in this novel. There were times when I was quite shocked, times when I was gasping out loud. Jeri Smith-Ready never failed to surprise me with her plot twists and originality.

But my absolute favourite aspect of this book......Zach! I've got it bad for him.....serious crush. And there was so much more of him in this novel! Which made me happy. And jealous because he wasn't mine. He's Aura's. Though I did enjoy reading about their blossoming romance.

Overall, Shift is an excellent sequel to Shade. If you read Shade and enjoyed it but you haven't picked up the sequel.....why haven't you?
